Big Dance

Pigalle was commissioned by the County Hall Gallery artist-in-residence Nasser Azam, to produce a new contemporary dance piece in celebration of the artist’s 20-foot bronze cast sculpture The Dance. The sculpture was installed outside County Hall, alongside the London Eye.

“I can’t thank you enough, always a pleasure to work with you and you took the idea to another dimension, it was stunning”  Kate Bailey, Arts Manager, Azam Gallery

Pigalle commissioned graduate fashion students to provide costumes for the contemporary dancers and produced the performances, which were showcased outdoors across a weekend on the South Bank, as part of the Big Dance festival.
