Pigalle devises, programmes and produces stand out events which combine art, culture and science for leading museums and galleries, attracting new audiences, increasing outreach and gaining high profile coverage across all media.
Audiences explored 17th century medicinal recipes in a Feast to Cure Melancholy, and discovered the science behind the can can, ballet, tango and contemporary disabled performance in Rhythm is a Dancer at the Wellcome Collection. Glamour Factory recreated the Hollywood star system throughout the National Portrait Gallery, and deconstructed the elements that make up a glamorous image, for a spectacular Friday Late which broke all public attendance records.
Art Experiment was the first event of its kind in Russia, inviting adults and their families to engage with contemporary art at the Garage Centre for Contemporary Culture in Moscow. Pigalle was involved from conception, designing immersive environments and participatory workshops alongside artists Bompas & Parr and Punch Drunk Experience.
Classic rides were installed for Fairground: Thrill Laboratory, exploring the emotions of pleasure, frisson and excitement which lead to the sensation of thrill, while audiences became detectives in a live whodunnit LGB Healthy Sex game, and looked at how engineering has been impacting the 5 Senses at the Science Museum.
